Scotland's World Cup Final.
Del was the chap hanging off the centre of the crossbar.
After the game, hundreds cut up the Wembley turf and took it home to replant in their gardens.
They even attempted to take the crossbar onto a tube, how they was allowed to take it out of the stadium is a mystery.

FINALLY an answer. Dates of 2019-20 Scottish Cup confirmed. Why it has to overlap the new season is daft, like Sturgeon .
SEMIS...31ST Oct, 1st Nov......Final......20th December. After earlier rounds for the 2020-21 cup.

Sturgeon must condem, Alco! I've not even checked, but I take it then Aberdeen will take the last European spot then?

It's back, bigman!

Rangers 1-0 over the Dons. Live on 365 with no commentary - already heard ''square it pal, fucking square it,''and ''for fuck sake,''

A pretty even game so far. McKenna is too much of a carthorse at times to be good enough for the EPL, IMO. He's still young, but Rangers should never have scored.

Gerrard is a f##king flop at Rangers. His audition for the Liverpool job has fallen flat.

Now his star striker wants to leave...ten in a row beckons.

Not bad at all, Shedders for United. And you really should be on 6 pts. I grew up with a lot of United and Dee fans, a Hibee and even a Ross County man (parents from Dingwall) so they are all happy tonight! :drinkers:

Motherwell off to a stinker! They have a good side for Scotland - Hastie, Donnelly, Turnbull, Gallagher etc, yet 0 pts. A long way to go though.

Kevin Nisbit has always impressed in the lower leagues, way too good for that stage and gets a brace today. Still only 23, so good luck to him. He seems to have shed a wee bit of timber too as well going full-time (or 'better' full-time from Raith to Hibs).

Wondering how long the new season will start though with the Covid Part II comeback possibly! Still, you could have Killie & Motherwell bottom of the table by the middle of the week!

If anyone's interested and missing the fitba, Sportscene is on BBC Scotland and iPlayer at 1930.

Two games in, but Micky Mellon is fairly impressive. Liking the cut of his jib, and really thrown himself in to United it seems. Speaking to my pal at the weekend who's an Arab (DUFC) and of course, they are a fickle bunch - fitba fans in general - but he says they are attacking a lot more and seeing more out of the players and Mellon has tried more formations than Neilson did in two years.

United v Hibs tomorrow.

Very early doors, but you could argue two very in-form sides and hopefully a decent game.

In European News, some 'favorable' ties, in brackets due to Killie's embarrassment last year. But considering some of the ties they could have got, I think all three teams drawn at this stage have done alright for themselves, all three have one-legged home ties.

Celtic v KR Reykjavik with the winners at home against Djurgarden or Ferencvaros in the Champions League.

Aberdeen v Runavik (Faroes) or Barry Town United.

Motherwell v HB (Faroes) or Barry's very own Glentoran.
