Agreed, Sub.

Those two bad boys are enough to turn Lawnsy straight.

Morning mate.

I'm not gloating (genuinely).

I feel sad for Wenger. After such a long time, this is no way for him to leave the club. He deserves to leave with dignity. Instead, he will be sacked at the end of the season. The club cannot possibly let him see out his contract.

It's like watching a Shakespearean Tragedy

He should have gone a few years back. I fully expect him to be in place next season.

I don't, Sin.

He will be 'moved upstairs' in the Summer.

A club like Arsenal cannot sit by & watch this decline indefinitely. Latest rumour is that Conte is preferred replacement.

Why not ? They've sat on their arses watching since 2006. Conte ....  He's really going to leave Chelsea for a Arsenal. Nah, he'll be back in Italy next season, imo. Wenger has a season left, he'll see it out mainly because Ivan Gazidis and the rest of the board haven't got a clue what to do. I think any top manager will look at Gazidis and Kroenke and say, thanks but no thanks.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the heard there Sin. The board just don’t know what to do and can’t imagine life without Wenger. They might have to get their fingers out and do something with him not being there. They have had an easy life for years.....

Which is exactly why i expect Wenger to see out this contract. Would i be surprised if Wenger was offered a new contact at the end of next season ? No, not really. I can't even get angry about this mess, anymore.

That lot got hold of him, gagged him with an Arsenal pillowcase and zipped him from head to toe in one of those long Wenger bench coats.

"[City] took advantage of our lack of confidence," Wenger said. "We're going through a difficult period, they're going through a period where all goes well for them.

"When your confidence is not at the best, the first thing that goes is your fluidity in the movement, the spontaneous side of the game.

"You could see that tonight. I don't deny their quality because they have top quality, but we're going through a difficult patch at the moment. That's part of football as well unfortunately."

I agree with Wenger.

And I'm sure Ty does too.

Rupe - stick with Arsene. You will get thru this 'difficult period'

Sounds like excuses to me. How much are these people paid a week to pick themselves up? That's the shit that Cotterill keeps coming out with. The manager needs changing, as man management is a massive part of bossing anything which involves people. Unfortunately it is rare that players get sacked, because if one or two did, they would soon get their arses out of gear.

Mate, I genuinely want you to.

I want Arsene in charge next season. If he goes now, a new bloke could get his act together with a plan to overhaul the team in place by Summer transfer window.

Ideally, you win Europa League & Arsene stays at least another season.
