Wigan just doesn't have that many people in it.

I posted something about that before, Das, will try to find.

Wigan Borough FC record attendance is 30,443 at Springfield Park v Sheffield Wednesday. FA Cup, 1929.
Wigan Athletic FC record attendance is 27,526 at Springfield Park v Hereford United, FA Cup, 1953.
Wigan Athletic FC record attendance is 25,133 at DW Stadium v Manchester United, Premier League, 2008.

Wigan RLFC record attendance is 47,747 at Central Park v St. Helens, 1959.
Wigan RLFC record attendance is 25,004 at DW Stadium v St. Helens, 2005.

It's a ponderer, though in recent times the football just has it.

Attendances tend to fluctuate depending on the success or otherwise of the sporting teams. As per.

I think the average football attendance in the last couple of years have been around the 10k mark.

Finchy owns most of the land, and won’t allow riff-raff to build on it.

Hence it remains the exclusive and desirable place that we know and love.

Is Wigan as grim as it looks on TV? Fuck it's like the Detroit of England.

A bit unfair to be pulled out of the had first only for Spurs to get home advantage.
