England's tour of New Zealand

Post by Lou Grant »

Started today...

Proper cricket isn't until 22nd March.

Without the reams of one day bollocks we could've had 3 tests. :(

Stokes(who was supposed to be playing today!), accused of fighting outside a Bristol nightclub in September, has denied a charge of affray.

I'm no legal expert, but having seen the video, I'd say he's be better off pleading guilty & taking the punishment.

It is possible that, having a sportsman's intellect, Stokes misunderstood the charge.

"So, Mr Stokes, do you deny the charge of affray?"

"Of course I do! I wasnt afraid of him at all. I wanted to kill the bastard!"

Q What’s the difference between a cart horse and a knights’s charger?

A The charger darts in the fray.......
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Fair Point.

In a just world, you can only beat the shit out of someone, get caught in the act on CCTV, plead not guilty and get away with it if your name is Steven Gerrard.

They did. I had assumed it was in New Zealand yesterday so that’s why on Sky.
I didn’t take much notice of the game.

Even the return of the ginger thug can't engender any interest in yet another bloody pointless ODI series.
