I hope someone torches the ground, go home boys....if it’s not a high rise flat or apartment now

Too late for that, Henry :(

The die is cast, the Boleyn demolished and expensive apartments already on sale.

Great isn't it.

The total destruction of west ham is one of life's true pleasures.

To be honest with you Innkeeper, I take no pleasure in seeing the fans of any club suffer the way Hammers fans are.

They have their bad element, as all our clubs do.

But also like the rest of us, the vast majority are decent enough people.

I always loved going the Boleyn when I travelled away.

Always went to a pub called the Earl of Wakefield, on the walk from East Ham tube station to the ground.

https://pubshistory.com/EssexPubs/EastH ... ield.shtml

We were always cordially received and some of the fellows we got to know would come to whatever pub we were using near Goodison when they came oop north.

Sadly it is closed now but I have fond memories of it :(

And I always loved the fact that there were six tower blocks by Upton Park, all called after one of Henry VIII’s wives.......Catherine Parr House, Jane Seymour House etc. :D

That horrible shower of Tory loving carpetbaggers which have brought them to the brink though.....I would not be particulary saddened to see them come a cropper though :x

His bike is quite nice for that paticular era as well. Is it a Raleigh, Ol' Pet?

Its going to be absolutely brilliant to see the scenes when they go down.

A club supported by cunts run by cunts being destroyed. Karma truly exists.

Who would be a Hammers fan?

Despite all that is going in at the club right now, half the team, including two of Saturday’s main villains Noble and Hart, are horsing around on ITV Cheltenham coverage, taking lessons on horse racing “commentating”.

You would have though the Hammers PR department (I know  ) would have had ITV drop that segment after Saturday’s fiasco.

You sure about that, Pet?

They must have either mastered being in to places at once or Chelnum has changed a fucking lot since I last went:

Talking of Hammers PR, I recall a picture of one of their managers (Allardyce I think) in the tunnel at Upton Park, posing next to a giant club crest with some sort of ridiculous mini mission statement about the club’s philosophy and tradition.

Unfortunately, the statement featured a prominent grammatical error, which rather punctured the pomposity of the whole thing.

Oh I am certain it was on air fifteen minutes ago.

It must have been recorded previously then.

But blimey.....if they have been taken for “warm weather training” the Hammers fans will be even more upset
