Somerset website creaking under the traffic. Who says county cricket is dead? What a game.

Fantastic game and thrilled to get a tie. The live match feed looked like it was being filmed through a goldfish bowl.

Well that's Lancy relegated. A full clearout needed starting with the useless Paul Allott at the top.

I imagine your stay will only be temporary. Half of the teams, are not going to be any more competitive next season, than they were this.

The worst batting line up in decades

When 3 of the top 6 are averaging about 20 in the county championship, you're not going to win many games. That doesn't even include Haseb who's averaging under 10.

James Foster - what a legend on the county circuit. Criminal that he didn't get more chances with England - was consistently the best English keeper for years.

Glad he fought to get his place back last season and got to experience a championship title before retirement.

Congrats to Worcs. It's always heartening, to see one of the smaller counties defy the odds and win a trophy. :smt023

Yeah, most of the neutrals were for Worcester. Both semis one sided for the side batting first but Worcester were comfortable. T20 finals day is good fun. Good old Moeen. :D

Was there the whole day, DB, now in a hotel in Brum. Relaxed don't care if splashed with beer casual was my choice of costume. Some great fancy dress, Harry and Meghan were funny. "Meghan's got a boner" chant as a fella. More if wanted later.

And the final sort of made up for the two or sided semis. Nuff chat now easy train back to Partridgeland now takes 3hrs and two buses to get to Peterborough because of some freight derailment affecting Nuneaton. So early start and going to dear old Nottm and may get home early evening.

Night. :smt015

Moeen. Brilliant performance for him and his team.

As someone wiser than me put it - if you don't love Moeen, you don't love cricket.
