The Porter/Harmer axis has resumed their partnership in style for Essex.

Durham game not going to be 4 day cricket - doubt it will even fill 4 sessions. The futility of April cricket.

One of the great catches just then by Trent Boult in the IPL .

What county does Boult play for? :D

319 lead for Essex. Two days to get 10 wickets. Be typical if Hameed pulls off a worldy tomorrow.

Essex victory!

Well played to Lancashire - they took it down to the wire and could easily have sneaked home. Nothing beats a well contested game of first class cricket with a tense finish.

Do we know if as many of Lancy's top order were sawn off by ridiculous umpiring decisions as in the first innings ?

Another exciting day of county cricket. Looking at the forecast I imagine Essex will have another no result in the championship.

Could've headed down to The Rose Bowl this weekend, but for the fact the ground is in the middle of nowhere and the weather was going to be so poor.

Same for Lancy. Relegation looms already.

Matt Renshaw - isn't it great to see an English opener in such great form? :)

Lol @ Yorkshire.

All the journos down to see Root and he was out first ball.

Sunny day, straw coloured pitch, Ballance making batting look easy ... can't say much for the rest of the Yorkshire team. :)

Oops, terrible shot by Ballance in the end. Yorkshire bowled out for 50.
