Derby are going to get quite the reception at Leeds next year. Make sure you go up before gloating in future (and that applies to others as well. Can remember Cardiff and Watford putting out the meme's and gif's before losing the play-off final).

Yep, they fucked themselves. Adrian Durham (of all people) nailed it here:

lol, getting to the Champions League final is achieved over a whole season of group games and then knockouts. Derby won 20 out of 46 games, and finished a quarter of the way down the table. But hey, they are high achievers and getting pissed and celebrating in that manner, they deserve it.

I feel a Kevin Keegan moment coming on.

ps good job you said 'no offence'

Its getting to a final so it’s worth celebrating. Personally I have no preference on either team winning but glad to see you have nailed your colours to Team JT. :D

Yep, said it here, but got told off and sent away with my tail berween my legs.

It was definitely an over celebration.

Still don’t agree. They cameback from the dead and got thru. They just didn’t perform well enough today. Sometimes the other team is better.

Delighted for JT though and glad you are too.

Agree with you on this, Jon. Nowt wrong with celebrating a semi win. A few hours letting off steam and some ales and then move on to the next match.

Calm down lads, your'e only in the quarters:

I think celebrating under achievement has been the English mentality for as long as I can remember.

I'm surprised that Gareth Southgate only got an OBE.

And here's another ridiculous example

Strong rumours that Monk has gone and with vacancies at WBA, Swansea and Hull, he will be in another job quickly. Will be gutted if it's true, but I'm note going to cry and mope about like Remainers. We will survive.

Don't want to speak too hastily but Wolves and the Villa are the only West Mids teams not in a state of chaos.

If Lampard goes to Chelsea, Derby could be another possibility. If he goes it will have something to do with our pathetic owners.

Apparently he was not happy about the Jota/Gardner deal. Fallen out with Ren. Either will walk or be sacked.

Fans in uproar, they will desert in droves if he goes.

With our owners record of appointing managers, Zola Cotterill, Redknapp, it doesn't give you a very warm feeling.

Zippy, what are your thoughts on Kalvin Phillips? Villa are being linked with him apparently for £18m and the Leeds fansites are going into meltdown. I like the idea of him coming if he does as he's a tough CDM who doesn't mess around. Not sure Bielsa wants him to leave either and the owners will want more.

All that crying about young coaches getting a good job and now another one is promoted way beyond his experience.

Should really try to get Hughton back.
