Daniel Sturridge is set to start pre-season at Liverpool - and attempt to fight his way into Jurgen Klopp's plans.

Of course the fact that no one will sign the crock may have something to do with that

Where’s that Obsession gif when you need it? Del, no one cares. Perhaps you can blame clubs like Liverpool, the Premier League model and the unsustainable pay structure which makes this happen and it’s by no means confined to Sturridge who you obviously have a bizarrely enduring contempt for.

Whether he has just been unlucky, or he needs his head looking at, his career is really fucked, unless a club is willing to take a chance on him, and things then change. Problem is, Liverpool will want biggish money, and tat is going to put clubs off as well.

Liverpool gave him a nice juicy long contract not that long ago. He’s going nowhere.
