Same here :D

New manager not starting till monday, the stand in absent on a pre booked half term holiday, injuries and suspensions aplenty and away at the team second in the league who'd won their last four games at home

I love football.......sometimes.

In the absence of a 'Macclesfield 2018/19 season' thread, here's as good a place as any to ask Silko of his comment on Sol Campbell being appointed as manager.

Doubt it's where he thought his managerial career would start.

Utterly Utterly baffled by it if I’m honest. My thinking is the owner and his puppet chairman have done it for media attention. I’m even more annoyed because only last night John Askey said on Radio Manchester that he may be willing to return. Why take a big name with no managerial experience over a man who knows the club inside out and won us the title last season????

If he does the job Paul Ince did for you it'll be a master stroke.

Three-way battle for the title . Orient , Giggs' Salford (cunt) and possibly Birmingham get their third League team in Solihull Moors (move over Blues and Villa). Aldershot go down again.
Chorley fighting it out with Stockport and Brackley in the North. Nice to see Torquay bounce back up into the fifth tier as South Champions.
FC United of Manchester fighting to stay in the sixth tier, making that challenge to the Glaziers seem light years away , considering the
reason behind their formation. If only uber-cunts Giggs and Beckham got behind them instead of Salford.
6uild 6ack 6etter .
You will own nothing and be happy.

FC needed 3 wins from our last 3 games and for Guiseley to lose their last 3 for us to stay up. Guiseley lost friday and we set off for Alfreton yesterday expecting our fate to be confirmed. Fortunately they're mid table and on the beach and we sneaked a 3-2 win. We've won one home game all season and need to beat Blyth tomorrow. They're fighting for a play-off place.

Salford released their accounts that covered their winning of our league last season. They incurred losses of £30k a week. With the signings they made last summer, I'd expect this years to be at least £50k a week. Good luck Orient.

Chorley FC beat Stockport in the clash of the top two, then fuck up at Spennymoor.
Looks like Stockport now for the 'North' title.

Hats off to FC today. Already down, but they played like they were in contention for a play-off place. :smt023

Another late goal. Did Blyth a favour to get in the playoffs last week and got you a home game after today. Best of luck !
