He looked pretty twitchy when he was descending. I doubt that he would have held on to the line anyway.

You're right. He knew whatsizname Phillipe was going to chase him down. Still a shame though.

Just caught the end. Froome down to third, came in to loads of boos. Dumoulin in second nearly 2 minutes behind. Game over.

Thomas seems a nice dude. Let's hope he doesn't fall off tomorrow.

Poor Froome:

Gonna snooze now, final mountain day to sit and watch all go. Dare Froome go for something leaving a bit of time for the ITT tomorrow?

Nah, but it would be fantastic is he did.

For all the criticism Sky get, IMO Demoulin is far more suspicious than both Thomas & Froome.
No team around him, not noted or built to be a climber, pushed Froome all the way in the Giro & he’s consistently kept pace & attacked.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see him take the GC even now.

Another great stage for Thomas today. It was good to see the other teams try and put pressure on him and the way he responded as his teammates struggled.

Excellent performance from Thomas. Apart from one corner today, he has looked faultless. =D>

Great tour. tom dumoulin and peter sagan are supurb riders to watch. I think Tom will win it next year. Well done to Thomas, top bloke.

well done froome too. a class act. I think because he quite a quiet chap people get the hump. I think he's great and showed great humilty by supporting Thomas when he knew he didn't have the legs. Next years tour should be good. Egan Bernal, Sky's young columbian rider looked amazing. He's one to watch.
