Manchester Utd disaster season 2018-2019

Post by delboy1983 »

That time again, world cup over playing friendlies against top class opposition minus the world cup latter stage contingent, complete waste of time.
Mourinho bemoaning his lack of signings, hinting he has no chance of overtaking City .
Well Jose this is season 3 and you have had more than enough time to put a settled team on the park.

Over and above that the fixtures for the start of the season could not have been kinder.
August

Leicester H
Brighton A
Spurs H

September

Burnley A
Watford A
Wolves H
West Ham A

total points available -21

Any points dropped would surely mean the writing is on the wall for the Chosen One and Man Utd and their attacking players can attack and the standard of football can improve greatly.

Really pessimistic and hope I am proved wrong and Jose goes out to win games not lose them as no doubt Citteh,Liverpool,Spurs,Chelsea and Arsenal will be setting out to do.

When asked by a journalist whether he thought United would challenge for the title this season, Mourinho said 'I no answer your question' and walked off.

What a miserable cunt he is.

So glad about it being a World Cup summer otherwise we'd have that nasty cunt plaguing us in the close season. Fortunately, I've heard virtually nothing of him since the end of May.

You think spurs at home is a gimme 3 points for Utd ? So, lets say it's a 2-2, you think the writing will be on the wall for Mourinho, who at that stage of the season could have 7 points out of a possible 9 points ?

Spurs at home are the only top 6 team they have to play and if they are going to be up there they need to take 3 points.
If the league is the target only points dropped should be away from home against top 6 opposition.
Fans are pissed off at the negative tactics especially at fortress Old Trafford and a trophyless season.
I honestly this this is Jose's last hurrah.
Potch or Zidane for me

Mauricio Pochettino, why ? To go from a manager who's won everything to a manager who's won nothing. Remember what happened the last time Utd did that ?

Exactly, bottling the question and now trying to put pressure on Klopp saying it's time to deliver a trophy etc
I used to admire Mourinho, but he's such a spoofer…

He's right about though... Liverpool manager since October 2015

19 Players Bought: £382,850,000

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has questioned clubs for spending huge sums on players and admitted he would quit football if it became commonplace.

'Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players.

'I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money.'

Jurgen Klopp, 2016

Since 2016, Klopp has spent..... £75m on Virgil van Dijk, a world record fee for a defender.
£56m on Alisson, a world record fee for a goalkeeper.

I like Dereks cunning plan. Now Man United have almost certainly won the league after he created this thread.

Klopp has already said that he made those comments just a few weeks before the Neymar transfer which changed everything and sent all fees through the roof.

He's also said he's changed his mind
