+1
I was lead to believe the idea was for Solskjaer to keep the seat warm for Pochettino. A few lucky results PSG/Spurs and United get there heads turned, crazy decision. For me Pochettino and United were the perfect match.
To be honest with you, I think Pochettino has been found out a bit.....twice since the new year Spurs have had great chances to get into the Title race and on each occasion they have bottled it.
But having said that.......I feel this Solksjaer appointment is going to spectacularly blow up in United’s faces next season.
They have tacked to the populist wind....and went for the safe option, the one Woodward will have a plausible excuse when they are hunting a manager this time next year.
Poch to be in charge at OT next season but one
Agreed, Pet.

Delighted with the appointment. Far rather have Ole there than proven winners like Allegri, Simeone or Conte. Six seasons since they last won a title and not had a sniff of it since. Long way off from Liverpool and City so a huge task for a managerial novice to make that ground up. Easy to see why he got the job and good for him it’s a 3 year contract.

Despite the chatter I never thought Poch to United was or is a goer just because Levy would've demanded £100 million + as he'd signed a new five year deal only last year. Surprised United didn't let Ole conclude the season before offering him the role and let the new manager bounce work through, not a title winning appointment but he seems to have one quality at least as mentioned previously which is luck.

I didn't watch it. Man U are just an overhyped pile of shite these days. Hope they get seriously bum raped at the Nou next week.

United have scored just one goal in 5 home CL games this season, and that was a 92nd minute scruffy goal by the late and unlamented Fellaini.
They've won away at Juventus and PSG, so whilst qualification is unlikely, it's not to be discounted.

Really Subs ? I would of thought playing United would be far easier than taking on Barcelona in the semis.

Yes, it would be, and we'd probably make the final.
But would much rather lose to Barca than run the risk of going out to Man U! The way Coutinho was booed the other night, because he scored the goal that effectively dumped Man U out of the Europa League, spoke volumes.
