The Tottenham Hotspur Disaster Thread 2018-19

Post by kancutlawns »

Here's hoping that this threads lures back our erstwhile friend, Steve. I'm sure though that a number of us, including kev and Rupe in particular have a passing interest in the North London giants from Haringey council so I'm hopeful this will get some legs and make it beyond page three as the season progresses.

About as much transfer activity going on at Spuds as there is activity of some kind in Steve Allen's pants i.e. not a lot.

White Hart Lane is no more btw, it's called Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - yup, a cool and sexy name.

When you say well, you mean well as in winning nothing, again ?

Two League Cups in 27 years, and one of them was won by an ex Arsenal manager...

I meant since 91... By the way, Paul Gascoigne didn't score in the final. He was subbed off after he hacked down Gary Charles.
Two years later Arsenal got their revenge for that Gascoigne semi final free kick. Arsenal 1 - 0 spurs 8) Arsenal then went on to win the FA Cup The following season 94, we won the Cup winners cup. So basically in two year we won as many trophies as it took spurs in the 26 years after their 91 cup win

But i'm more than happy to edit my post... 2 League Cups and 1 FA Cup in the last 27 years

...

No. That would have caused a big backlash if he had been but that may or may not have been the reason he wasn’t.

Wharraboo League titles since 1962? spurs 0

:D

Oh, school boy error in my last post... Arsenal also won the League Cup in 1993. So that means it took us two seasons to gain the same trophy which has taken spurs 27 years and counting.
