Good to see Heffernan winning at last.

He always seems to be on one of the placed horses every year.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Play it from 1h23m onwards for 5 Min or so. The stat, Ascot straight course has a good deal of sand in its surface etc.

Just happened to turn on ITV at 4:15, and they were parading. Didn't even know what time the Gold Cup was, but watched the race and you couldn't help being impressed by the maestro.
