Just imagine if we hadn't had Bairstow today. :smt107

Great resilience from the Windies.
Time after time they've just wafted the bat when they're in trouble, but they've shown amazing self-control to accumulate the runs patiently.
A 100 lead is probably already enough, unless England can score 350 in their second innings (unlikely).

Its time to admit Root just doesn't cut the mustard as captain, why be part of picking Curran if you aren't going to use him. Either he's too weak to get the team he wants or he just accepts any old shit that Ed Smith tells him to. Couple that with his lack of ability to read a game as skipper and its clear that his time is running out to become the captain that the media want him to be.

And BBC and Aggers and Cook can fuck the fuck off.

Alzarri Joseph's mum has died. Horrible for anyone, but at 22, awful: http://www.espn.co.uk/cricket/story/_/i ... ay-antigua

Root either has to resign as captain or he needs to be more insistent about getting the team he wants. It needs to be a TEAM as well, one of Buttler, Foakes or Bairstow has to go as having 3 wicketkeepers in the team isn't working when 2 of them are batting like plums.

Drop Foakes, move Bairstow down the order and tell Curran he can have next week off as well.

5 runs in 5 overs . Good job this wasn't a 20-20 match. I've seen chess games with more movement.

Great to see a bowler go away, work on his action, look effective and actually take some wickets early on.
