You should email that one in to TMS when they next do Ask The Umpire.AlcoholBrazil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 8:41 am Subtitle : ZAMBO, YOU ARE THE UMPIRE .
As Old Trafford are allowing a limited 1000 strong crowd, when a batsmen hits a six into the stands,
it is common practice for the crowd to try and catch the ball.
Should the spectators allow the ball to land on their heads or force the umpire to call for a new ball (which affects the game)
to avoid Covid-19 being passed onto the bowler, and possibly the rest of the team ?

As it's Old Trafford, spectators will allow the ball to land on their heads anyway, as they won't feel a thing. In the unlikely even of the ball being caught, it should be binned immediately.AlcoholBrazil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 8:41 am Subtitle : ZAMBO, YOU ARE THE UMPIRE .

ps Broad has had a word with himself or somebody has anyway, and told him where to pitch the ball, instead of slamming it into the deck Mark Wood style and getting hooked into oblivion.

What a thoroughly decent person Carlos Brathwaite is coming over as on TMS
As a summariser he's offered more in 3 games than Tufnell has in 10 years. A couple of lad were doing a sponsored bike ride last year from Barcelona to Manchester to raise funds for a specialist ambulance in Manchester. CB donated £900
Credit where it's due Andy Robertson handed over his 2019 Champions League winners shirt for auction in the same cause

They disinfect the balls after that sort of contact, they did yesterday when Dowrich was struck in the face whilst wicketkeeping.AlcoholBrazil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 8:41 am Subtitle : ZAMBO, YOU ARE THE UMPIRE .

I don't mind Tufnell, though. Despite all the japes/antics, he talks a lot of sense – and he's not an attention-seeking twat like Vaughan.

Good news and well spotted, JW.
Warwickshire’s opening match in the Bob Willis Trophy against Northamptonshire is on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August and is indeed open to spectators would go if I was around on the weekend.

Woakes 5-50 - Match Winner
He'll probably get dropped for the next test to make way for Mark Wood. They need more pace.

He finally showed up, yes, but he's not the reason England won this match.

I hope the NHS is doing routine surgery again as an urgent procedure is needed to remove Jonathon Agnew's tongue from Broad's anal passage.
