If they go far there could be some big numbers

Utterly disingenuous of the BBC to compare a terrestrial audience with that of a game on Sky.

But it feed s the illusion of its great , everyone wants to see it ............like shite they do ....or it would of been even higher like a blokes Wcup game would do 8-10 M ....minimum........all pc agenda driven crap from the BBC again &not really mentioning it was Eng /Scotland too , which helps national figures

England v Scotland in a WC or Euros would get 15M+ I reckon, more if a knockout game.

On BBC or ITV for sure. Probably 20 million for an unlikely semi. :)

Loving all the butt-hurt guys whining on here about an event they could easily just ignore if they wanted to.

(But of course they don't want to. They want to be outraged. Aww, shucks!)

I caught a bit of the Argentina/Japan game yesterday and it was bloody awful, I’m a Rochdale fan so I’ve seen plenty of shit football over the years! It’s a different game to the men’s game due to how slow it is due to the difference in physically between females and males.

The BBC are pathetic trying to compare the viewing figures with the England/Holland game on Sky last week, the Tunisia game at the start of WC2018 which was also on BBC1 would have been a better comparison for viewing figures.

The average attendance in the Women's Super League this season was 937.

13-0. First hammering of the tournament.

Spencer Prior was on H and J saying they won't get beaten heavily tonight. Oops! Although he did go in to detail about how after the last WC some of them hadn't kicked a ball for 9 months, so maybe it's in perspective that result.

Sweden beat Chile 2-0 after a delayed game thanks to a downpour of rain.

I read a very cruel comment in the comments section of one newspaper, regarding womens' football.
"........ at least they won't have to bother with slow motion replays."
