Mr Woodgate ,local lad or not is on very dodgy ground, sounds arrogant as shit in last interviews & the peasants are not happy at all......with good cause , the same players were top 6 for 2 seasons previous & appear fucking clueless now !!!!!

To be fair, they kept their chin up after the first goal but really they look pretty much gone at such an early stage of the season. I get the feeling West Brom and Leeds will pull away from the chasing pack quite soon. Not much competition around.

If Leeds had a proper goalscorer (someone in the mould of Chris Wood) we'd be 5-6 points clear right now. We dropped a lot of needless points in September especially due to multiple missed chances but I suppose being up there despite not playing well a lot of the time is no bad thing. That said, our chances to conversion rate is shocking.

West Brom are the best team we've played so far, particularly going forward. Maybe not so great at the back. Strange how we won that game yet lost to Millwall who looked absolute dog shit.

O'Neill would be off his rocker to take that Stoke gig. He has a very decent chance of getting to the Euros via the Playoffs and even if they do just miss out ; a better team surely will come calling for him.

Stoke are a bit of a basket case club - so much mediocrity on Premier League wages last term. While some still remain, they've brought in a fair few bang average mid-table cloggers for this season. Top man Michael O'Neill should stay well away.

Would be funny to see them go down again though.

When there is so much money involved it’s highly unlikely he would turn it down. Money always talks.

Chris Coleman MK 2, potentially.

That's a great shout.

Know a guy who knows O'Neill (Aye, I know ; it sounds pish but he does - played football at Brechin) and says O'Neill is absolute gent. He is civil and kind to everyone around him from the stewards to the chairman etc and doesn't treat anyone different, so I really wish him well at Stoke, but it does feel a bit like Coleman.

He's doing the two NI games next week against Germany and Holland and also the potential playoff in March for Euro 2020.

Northern Ireland will more than likely have a Playoff to look forward to - quite complicated ; but basically any team that was in Pot A of the Nations League and 80% of the teams in B (which NI were) who don't finish in the top two will more than likely get a playoff.

Imagine he has a mare at Stoke/sacked in February and back for the NI playoffs in March (gets through that) and keeps his NI job. :D
