Michael Owen was brought up in Wales he played for England. He doesn't watch movies or tv. I think Mike Graham would have been an excellent person to write his book.

A borefest full of golf and horse racing anecdotes no thanks. Showed promise in 98 , but after the Miracle in Munich in 2001, became
a sicknote and rested on his laurels. Sadly another member of the "Golden Generation" that promised much and delivered little.
The Golden Generation played in the mid-Sixties.

He stole Robbie fowlers thunder but never got the love from the Liverpool fans in the same way. I think he only went to Man U because himself and fergie were into their horses and it was nearer his home in north Wales.
