As per
Lou Grant wrote:Buttler to keep wicket (Foakes also being considered as an option)
Bairstow not ruled out but will only get a place as a batsman if selected.
Anderson, Wood & Stone to miss out due to injury - Saqib Mahmood may be selected
Pope will be in squad alongside one or both out of Sibley & Crawley

Shame Foakes isn't given another chance.

Looks like only Sam Curran in both squads. Good call to give the others a rest.

Parkinson and Denley too

Pat Brown is going to make a fortune on the 20/20 circuit without ever getting near selection for proper test cricket

Winning the T20 series via a super over - the ultimate 2019 trolling of the Kiwis completed.

:D

Bit more convincing this time, as the game was wrapped up with a ball to spare.

Incidentally had NZ tied the Super Over, they would have won on boundaries. ENG (7 4's 13 sixes) NZ (7 fours, 14 sixes)
6uild 6ack 6etter .

Sam Curran picked ahead of the inconsistent Woakes.
Good decision :)

Always enjoy playing the Kiwis, usually very entertaining and played in a good spirit.

Love the analysis spot - looks like it's coming from a bedsit with a "tinny line" modem in the corner. :)
