Having VARs is worse than having crap referees. That bloke doing the Leicester v Everton match looked a complete cluesless bag of nerves.

Have seen it now, and all of the other crap match changing decisions in the weekend's football.

Re Pukki, using the current interpretation of the law, he's was offside, but assistants haven't got a chance in hell in spotting such minute margins. You may as well just have them telling the ref when the ball goes out of play and use VAR for all offsides. The way they are using it, is undermining match officials, I would hate to ref and line in these times. They are not even allowing refs to check pitch side monitors to have the final say.

The offside law was originally designed to encourage attacking play, it even said if there is any doubt then the attacking player should be given the benefit of it. They need to address this and get it changed. Being offside because your elbow is closer to your opponents goal line than a defender is a farce.

Several more atrocious decisions in other games. Carroll was clearly pushed in the box in the Newcasle v Everton game, and Grealish was fouled leading up to one of the Watford goals, think it was the third, just to name two.

Yet another fuck up early in the Burnley vs Villa match where Grealish’s headed goal was scrubbed off with Wesley’s heel dubiously offside even though he never touched the ball. Fuck, something really needs to be done to bring some common sense in.

Two fucking minutes for VAR to give a penalty for a foul on Aguero. Gundogan had his penalty saved. Lloris was then ruled have brought Gundogan down and another penalty was awarded only to be overruled by VAR. Mental.

Fucking shit, Dean is an incompetent cunt, Lloris was off his line and he didn’t notice this. Another problem with VAR is that the officials in this case probably think they can outsource any decision making to this and not make any fucking decisions themselves. Astonishing.

The reason VAR was brought in, was because referees are shit. VAR has proven that, and that the referees who operate it are shit as well.
