Still no place for Foakes, but Bairstow returns. Bonkers. :x

England Test squad for South Africa tour: Joe Root (capt), James Anderson, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler (wk), Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Joe Denly, Jack Leach, Matthew Parkinson, Ollie Pope (wk), Dom Sibley, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood.

Moen Ali refused a recall, no doubt seeing it’s a tricky tour.

Good start for England at Centurion but the Saffers are building slowly. 152-5.

Good stuff from Broad to wrap up the SA first innings in the first over.
The pundits were saying yesterday that 300 is a decent score, so England just need to take their time and get a first-innings lead :)

Lost the test by 107 runs. Surprised we got that close to the target even with the start to the second innings. Some solid looking scores at the top of the card but result wasn’t really in doubt. Who’s to blame?

- de Kock should have been caught in his first over - he went on to make 95
- England collapsed from 142/3 to 180 all out in first innings.

That pretty much sums it up.

A shame to see a once formidable Test team comfortably beaten again.
