Paisley was fantastic but he was taking over the players and infrastructure Shankly created.
Hard to tell how he would have done from scratch.
Klopp is certainly on a par with those two but he did inherit a lot done by Rodgers.

He did a pretty substantial rebuild on the side Shankly left. Kept the core and improved the rest. Also allowed players like Heighway to develop beyond their previous roles.

Made some superb and perceptive signings, notably below-the-radar players such as Ray Kennedy.

Rodgers is Shankly?

NO wasn't saying that.
What Shankly took over was very poor,
Whereas Klopp took over a lot of positives Rodgers had left
And has then improved the whole thing again.

These comparisons mean nothing but it is currently very happy times under Klopp. The biggest compliment to him and the coaches is that he can fine tune the tactics and playing style on a game by game basis, based on previous performances, the players who are available and how he believes the opposition are going to line up.

He is now doing lots of things that Paisley and Shankly could never do but, on the other hand, he hasn't had to do lots of things that they would have to do on a daily basis. The future is a bright as his teeth. :D

He might be bette4 than Shankly but he will never be better that Paisley.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Liverpool were mid table having scored 8 goals in 9 games when Rodgers was sacked. They'd ended the previous season with a 6-1 defeat at Stoke.

Not sure where the lots of positives were

He also spent a colossal £292m in the three years since he joined the club with players largely walking walking out, he bought more crap players than good, had an ineffective transfer policy and brought in inexpensive shit like Balotelli.

Gomez, Milner, Lovren, Origi and Firmino are what's left of Rodgers signings at the club.

They've all contributed to varying degrees under Klopp. Only 2 are guaranteed to start.
A joyless arsehole.

Gomez, Firmino were great buys.
He bought Coutinho for £13m and he was sold for £120m plus.

No ones better than Paisley. Pick any of Fergie’s 9 year spells and he’s nowhere near Bob

By in large Rodgers spent very poorly during his time at Liverpool.
