Well, let’s see. One of the key things as with Tammy Abraham who lives with an elderly parent is players could be infected with COVID-19, take the infection to the training grounds, the actual matches when they will be playing with 21 other individuals and taking the infection back home.

So the risk of infection is one thing. Another is the lack of proper competition when a number of teams have players dropping out. It’s just senseless. They could have closed the season down, not sure of the urgency. The financial argument was a red herring and a lot of PL teams have billionaire owners.

If Sky had their way, there would be back to back football from 10am to 10pm with no fans. They may get their wish.

It's all ok now, that total football brain Alex Scott .......yes the fucker who never misses a beat for self publicity & played at a level of pub football is going to "advise" the government how to bring about a return.

Note to ms Scott , i have forgotten along with all the grizzled on here more about "real" football than she has seen in her oh so pc world she has cleverly got her arse into ....there are a thousand people i would of picked before her , god knows what she will say when they ask how to set a training programme in this scenario ...........not a graded coach , so not much help there, Total garbage & all to do with "being pc", there are a ton of experienced Coaches/Managers that could do this .

She's got a whole career's experience of playing in front of empty stadiums to bring to the table.

It's over.

It has now been confirmed that Leeds will be promoted to the Premier League.

Not quite yet, Maudey, the championship still hope to resume in June. So though they probably won't do that, it's not all cut and dried yet.

In theory Leeds may still get the chance to do their usual fuck up. Whatever happens, I hope they go up, they deserve it.

Interesting comment by Beeky yesterday, that the chefs at Liverpool have been cooking the players' food and it's being delivered to their homes to make sure they eat properly. Has that been the case at other clubs?
If so, then the chefs have gone to work and mingled with their colleagues to mash the players' bananas for them without making a huge song-and-dance about it, and without a 40-page list of safety requirements, whereas the players, waited on hand and foot, feel uneasy about putting in a shift. Nice.

Just be thankful they're just stupid and not also imaginative. Otherwise we might have got,
"Operation Fatal Venom" or "Project Death Bastard." or something else that looks like it was thought up by a dim eleven year old boy.

Just let Liverpool have the trophy, then nuke the lot of them, sweep up the ashes and put them in the fucking bin.

N.B. The Premier League I mean, not specifically the Scousers

N.B.B. Although having said that...
