It's good to see you back, Arthur.

I was hoping to make a decent start to the season after two terrible campaigns in a row but I seem to have an uncanny knack of picking players who only do well when they're not in my side!

This was best highlighted in the first two weeks of the season, when my captain and vice-captain(Kane and Son) scored 6 points between them in week 1 and then 66 points between them in week 2.......by which time I'd got rid of them both!

I really wish I'd listened to Andy Jacobs with regards to Willian.

At the time when the media were calling him the signing of the season after his three assists on the first day of the season, Andy warned people that he's only any good once every 5 or 6 games.

I ignored this warning and brought him into my team straight after the Fulham game. He hasn't scored more than 2 points in a match since!

I won't be moving out of the bottom 3 this week after another poor weekend.

My goalie and one of my defenders were heading for clean sheets until very late on in their games.

It was a toss-up between Son and Salah when deciding who to make my captain. Was it really ridiculous to think Salah would score more than 2 points against Sheff Utd? I bet Son scores more than 2 points against Burnley!

To make matters a little bit worse, my only unused sub scored at least 8 points.......

This new multi-day match format with staggered times makes it difficult to put up tables. But here is the latest, just before Crystal Palace play Liverpool to start Gameweek 14. Thayt's why everyone has 0 gameweek scores.

Salah on the bench, so that could affect a lot of teams this week.

Gameweek 15

A very short deadline to Gameweek 16 means the tables shows positions at end of Gameweek 15 but not points for that gameweek or positions climbed or dropped. Suffice to say Salah's poor performance against West Brom hurt a lot of teams, who has faith in him against Newcastle as the last match in Gameweek 16; and who has to as they missed the deadline to change their captain?

Kevin de Bruyne and Dominic Calvert-Lewin captainers look away now: just heard the Everton v Man City game has been postponed due to COVID-19; that will hurt those with multiple Man City players unless it is somehow re-arranged within this gameweek.

The table shows that since last time one was published here Macclesfield Town have overtaken Klopps and Robbos at the top.

Gameweek 19: Eight days in this gameweek, and a few teams playing twice meant the potential of bumper scores. Klopps and Robbos was one of three teams to break the ton, and this took them back to the top. Ironmongers Athletic scored highest with 116 points leaving then now only 31 points from the leader.

Next deadline is Tuesday 26 Jan t 4.30pm.

Gameweek 21:

Klopps suddenly take a commanding lead thanks to captaining Salah when all around failed or were benched. New challenger in second place is Ironmongers Athletic who benefited from having Salah as vice-captain when their captain sat it out. After last round's joy, Harry's Lemon's were squeezed with only 20 points dripping from them.

Shedboy hangs onto 8th position.

Next deadline is tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd Feb) at 4.30pm.

Yes, a shocking end to what was otherwise a great month for me.

Everything that could go wrong for me, did go wrong for me. Pep rested Cancelo and my captain Sterling. My new captain Calvert-Lewin did nothing against a terrible Newcastle side that was apparenly going to get thrashed at Goodison. The usually reliable Justin and Son had stinkers and I ended up having to play a Burnley player and a West Ham player in defence!

I've had enough of Adama Traore. He hasn't scored and has had just 1 assist in about 30 games now!

You watch him score about 20 points now that I've vowed never to pick him again...........

Gameweek 22:

Klopps now have a 46 point lead at the top of the table, with Macclesfield reclaiming second place from Ironmongers. Bruno owners got 17 points, double if captained him whilst Salah let everyone down.

Southampton's Bednarek created a new record of -7 points, double if you captained him and according to the FPL site one person triple captained him!

Gameweek 23 deadline is at 11am tomorrow, Saturday 6th Feb then Gameweek 24 has some double matches for Burnley, Fulham. Everton and Manchester City.

Deadline for next game week is this evening, Friday 19th Feb, at 6.30pm. A double game week for Leeds and Southampton, a points bonanza ahoy?

Gameweek 25:

Leeds and Southampton had double game weeks this round and some late scoring in their match saw Leeds players do well for managers who picked them. Klopps stay top after using their wildcard, even though they captained Salah. Ironmongers return to second on the back of Leeds points whilst Macclesfield drop to third with no Leeds but 24 Fernandez captain points cushioning the blow.

Gameweek 26 deadline is 11am on Saturday 27th February, and there are 17 matches in it where many points can be won or lost. Time to triple captain?

The one with loads of doubleweekgames where big guns failed to score many points. Among the mass ruination of hopes and dreams, triple captains and bench boosts, Klopps stay top.

Next deadline Saturday 6th at 11am for a gameweek where Man City and Southampton have two games each. Dare you play the Pep roulette?
