Easiest website builder?

I just want somewhere that I can update with text every so often and hopefully display some adverts. There’s so many places to choose from but I just need basic/cost effective

WordPress.com is pretty simple (not the self-hosted WordPress.org version)

Squarespace is simple but most end up paying more than they would like

Been using Squarespace for several years and it's great. You can get something looking really good and very easy to add stuff. Cheaper alternatives of course.

I've just written a WordPress blog, if you just want plug and play get Squarespace.

WordPress is idiot proof.Hence I use it!

I did go with Wordpress, I put a few words on easily enough. I’ll have to read the “how to” properly tho before I attempt anything else :roll:

Word of warning, if you want to make it look a specific way and end up being tempted at buying themes and plugins looks at Squarespace again.
