New Phone Time

Post by Steve Hunt »

Current contract due to expire with EE.

Currently have a Samsung & I'm happy to have another one., it's been a good phone. Will definitely not have anything made by Apple (conning bastards).

All suggestions regarding a new phone and (in particular) good new contract deals would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I take it its mainly used for professional purposes rather than leisure or home?

I use GiffGaff and have unlimited data (which isn't unlimited, the bastards) but that aside, for 20 quid a month that is contractless and I top up monthly using a debit card and can reduce to less costly packages at anytime, it works okay for me. Any phone can use them.

I'm not sure if that would be sufficient for a heavily used works phone though.

Get a SIM only and buy a Wileyfox Swift 2x from Amazon.

Good phone, great value.
I might have done one - not sure but possible.

I got the Samsung A5, Steve.
Great phone; really happy with it. Screen decent size but not outlandish; battery life good; very quick etc
Very impressed :smt023

I'm gonna sort it out this weekend. I've currently got a Samsung & have had no problems with it at all. So I think I will stick with them. i will have a good look at the A5

ZTE Axon 7 is a very reasonably priced phone. Good features and great sound from the front two speakers.

Got myself a google pixel 2 xl.

Not bad.
