Setting up a TV outside

Post by carcinogen »

What do I need to get a TV up and running outside? I have power and a TV, but what else do I need? I'm thinking some sort of plug-in tv aerial ... but does that need to plug into a Freeview box? I'm just thinking, what with all these football matches on, it'd be nice to sit outside for some and watch them in the garden. Not looking for anything fancy ... just something that works and is simple. Thanks!

TV. Aerial and an extension lead.

If in doubt consult a qualified TV engineer.

I reckon it would yeah. My mate has a massive telly in ultra HD which runs perfectly on one like that. The tight cunt won't pay for cable and pre digital the same mast when working on analogue signals for just normal BBC stuff had a shit picture.

It says for indoor use only ... yet, I want it for the garden, is that an issue do you think? Good thing about Argos ... they don't fuck about with returns, I think that's their secret of longevity.

Just make sure none of it gets wet. When they say 'indoors only' they actually mean, 'keep it out of the rain, you stupid fucker'.

Are you really living on a park bench?

When I said it in the past I meant it as a friendly joke. :(

Just set some big windows facing the garden with a 270 degree wall bracket that angles back to the garden. Rig up some external speakers outdoors.

You’d be better off with this, just extend your existing lead, cheaper as well
