Of course i didn't fucking see them you utter spastic.

And I saw Nirvana. I was in my pushchair, mind addled by marijuana fumes. I was wise beyond years to think shite and some red trousered cunt playing bass.

I was there a year later, Carlos. It was a life changing experience in terms of music and stuff.

Saw Queens of the Stone Age two weeks ago and they were really good.

Toots and the Maytals on Wednesday.

Top stuff. Pressure Drop and 54-46 the highlights.
A joyless arsehole.

I saw Pink Floyd do the Wall at Earls court twice. I was very young - me dad dragged me along. Rather good tho.

I saw Rainbow - Ritchie B swapped his Fender strat for a shit copy before stepping atop his amps and smashing it. Total lack of class that. Although he did play his axe with a bottle of lager which impressed me. Seen Steve Vai (great). Joe Satriani (Shite). Seen Jethro Tull twice - first time good. Second one (Thick as a Brick 2) crap. And various other rock gigs that have evaporated in a haze of mashed out memories.

Biffy Clyro. Sheffield. My one and only 'gig'. I enjoyed the performance.

I'm impressed.

My dad saw The Beatles play live in Glasgow. In the 60s he also saw Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Kinks, Small Faces, Dave Clark Five, Cliff Richard, The Troggs, and others.

Sparks. In both Manchester and Birmingham.

Magnificent as ever.

Went to see the stones on the current tour a couple of weeks ago. Bit of a let down if I'm being honest. Opened with sympathy (which I was hoping they'd save for the encore') and then for the next hour played stuff only the hardcore would know. The early excitement was soon put to bed and the crowd were leaving in droves before the end when they started to belt out some hits.

Never expected to be bored seeing these.

Got tickets for Shed 7 At Fibbers in York on the 17th Nov 8)
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

Almost biennial tour of the Happy Mondays at the UEA. 2012 was the 25th anniversary of 'Squirrel and G-Man...', 2015 was the 25th anniversary of 'Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches', this time a greatest hits tour. So escorted a MILF and GILF to the show.

As always good fun. Ryder looking more and more like a dodgy uncle, Bez the 53 year old idiot savant and Rowetta, still stunning. :wnk: Did a good show, all the old favourites but seems more of a coin chase than fun if being hypercritical.

Last time I think I wrote about feeling of being old but not, this time even less so. Imagine middle management of an accountancy firm on a dress down Friday going to a gig, and it was worse. Though a few orange coats à la Gallagher. More Stone Islands and some err yokel geezers thinking they're ruff and tuff. Company got predictably shited so unlike previous aftershow parties we taxied home till next time and some fake mancs in December: https://thewaterfront.ticketabc.com/eve ... featuring/

A Carlos 7/10. The end:

How was it, Gene? Playing the UEA 11 December. My company today are going but not for me Beeky. And a sell out.

Aren't they Hull or Yorkshire based?

Thursty edit notification: Mr Wiki says York so right. :)
