Trespass Against Us:

Good cast featuring Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson as waring father and son gypsies.

Not much cop tbh.

The acting and direction were really good but the script was weak. It ended up like a feature-length episode of Shameless.

Very, very good.

It was a really good film :D

Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond 8/10

Really enjoyed it and whilst I imagine most think Carrey acted like a wanker on set throughout the filming of Man On The Moon, I thought it was pretty funny and him winding up Jerry Lawler and really re-creating the Kaufman - Lawler rivalry (involving a hospital stay) was mental. Also, quite interesting to hear Jim Carrey be really deep during the present-day interview parts and speaking about his Dad really hit me e.g he could have been a very good sax player, but had a family and would have to move to America, up the family etc and it might not work out ; or you get a job as an accountant in your home town/stable wage and support the family, but he ended up losing the so-called stable job TL/DR - give what you really want to do a crack, as if you settle maybe that won't work out either.

Went to see Hostiles a few days ago.
A very bleak, dark and utterly superb film with excellent performances all round. Shedometer rating - 10/10 and that doesn't happen too often.

Finally saw Three Billboards. A solid, watchable film. But that's it. Doubt I will ever re-watch it. Slight disappointment given the hype. It's a bit like that Jeff Bridges vehicle last year. Great but forgettable.
