Top, top drummer as well :)

Not a bad actor either.

Great all round entertainer.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

I'd have thought that Blondie & Chas & Dave would be the headline acts.

The greatest compliment I can pay Phil is that one of the best ever bands, Genesis, actually became better when he took over as lead singer after an iconic front man departed.

I'm a big Genesis fan, Pet.

It's a close call, but they were better when Gabriel was with them.

Nothing they did post Gabriel compares to albums like "A Trick of The Tail", "Selling England by The Pound" & the excellent live album "Seconds Out"

Maybe I'm missing a very subtle point in this alternative fact world, but two of those albums were post-Gabriel.

Foxtrot and Lamb Lies Down for me, Beeky.
Can’t be arsed.

Shit - yes, you are right  For some reason I had it in my befuddled brain that Gabriel left after A Trick of the Tail

Agree that The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is also excellent
