They should put the group games on sports extra ffs

Burden’s been wetting her pants over it. Surprised they haven’t sent the roving reporter out to Yokohama or Tokyo to cover the event. That she admits to knowing fuck all about it didn’t preclude her from being sent to Russia two summers ago or indeed co-hosting the brekky show every weekday morning. Probably the most vacuous female on 5Dead although Anna Foster comes close.

A live sports station covering live sport, whatever next. It’s the World Cup, it’s a big deal. One less hour of politics talking about the crap we are in must be a good thing.

Why on earth would they put the home nations games on Extra.

I’m just surprised the “Home of rugby” is not covering it. Perhaps it’s on TS2......

They've cleared the schedules for France v Toga this morning.

Is there ANY reason why this couldn't be on 5live sports extra ? (Apart from the BBC's biased obsession with Union ?)

Does anyone listen regularly to TWFPI and if so, who are your favourite combos?

That Egyptian Liverpool fan that calls regularly is starting to grate.

I like Mark Gleeson's dour/dead-pan delivery and Tim the best.

I used to love getting in late and listening to it through most of the night years ago but since the availability of the podcast and now Brassell and in particular Vickery are on other media outlets it's easy to find them and catch up. Vickery in particular just repeats what he says on H&J plus Carlos's favorite Dotun is flagging towards the end of the week which is why he can be such an irritant. Sean fecking Wheelock dribbling on about Beckham, Rooney, Jozy Altadore and Landon Donovan...God bless'em US mens soccer is still shit.

Netball
10 mins of golf at 2am

As per. Listen to Vickery on the WFPI and you'll hear the same gags on his meeja for the next week including H&J and his Extra Time show. Still like the Legendinho though, others, much of a muchness, but ha, Ant about Wheelock. :)

Do like dear old Mina Rzouki though. And again as per, she can sometimes drivel on like fat, gobby Gabby Marcotti, the non-yank. And like him, think everything she says is gospel, when it's not, but do quite like her. She's spunky.

Some egg chasing shite is deemed more important than carrying the Prime Minister doing a speech in support of a vote that decides the future of our whole country

Fuck off BBC

Fantastic commentary on England’s rugby World Cup win over the Aussies. Live sport at its best.

Well done BBC :smt023

WFPI new poddy and it's got the Canadian-Algerian Maher Mezahi - really likeable, knowledgable and glad he's back. Hadn't heard him for a while, think he's done about 4/5 episodes in total of the WFPI.

Fav combo is Gleeson (the South Effrikaahn) ''it's completely naawuuughhts" :D and big Tim.

I like most of the experts, although not overly keen on Rzouki. And that Egyptian Liverpool caller has had his 5 minutes, I wish he would stop phoning in.

Agree about Vickery, he's ace ; but does often repeat himself when on H and J (as expected). If I had a tenner for every time we've heard that Yerry Mina (it might not be him, sorry Yerry if yer reading :D ) story ''He's like us all. Ate a bit too much good food and listening to some class Jazz records.''' we'd have maybe £100 8)
