20th Anniversary of the Word Football Phone In now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/5live/entrie ... 3cbaa5917e

Live audience, Vickery in the house after World Cup draw day earlier.

Dotun ruining it as usual with cuntery and just not being funny. Has old Cleo 'The Book' on and Andrew 'The Gent'. Both over-indulged for years. Dotun applauded them for being there after troubling times in their lives, then said he's had troubling times and started near tearing. Thankfully Vickery took over.

In Vickery's blog, he mentions Dickie Dallyn as one of the early presenters. The Glory days of Up All Night, Dallyn and the legend Rhod Sharpe, was the zenith of listening, but then he came and a hagiography of Dotun as:
Dotun is key to two of the main reasons, in my humble opinion, for the show’s success – and for the fact that, to my unending delight, it frequently appeals to people with little interest in the game of football.
Incorrect. Dotun is a cunt who ruins the show with his idiocy. Yes, we know for the nth time, he was the first black man in Scandanavia. Yes, we know he can't sing. Yes we know he can't present a decent show.

And yes, as per, we know his appearance on C4s 'Bootylicious' is very hard to find. But I saw it.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Vickery on BBC was a delight. In this age of a 2 second attention span Tim really came across as a throw-back. No 'ums or ers'. No cliches. The fella really showed-up how fucking SHIT punditry on the BBC is. He made Shearer and 'Chappers' look like total cunts. It was great.

I'll catch-up with the Phone-In on Podcast as I walk to Lidl tomorrow to watch poor people clambering over themselves for Xmas bargins. I quite like old Dotun, but he really IS fucking shit.

Vickery is far too smugsmug for my taste. The fella reeks of exile and forged papers.

I like Tim. An excellent journalist and can bring a conversation all the way round.

I quite like Dotun too. He's not exactly a great broadcaster, but seems a nice, wholesome guy.

He was on Five Live intermittently during the day after the draw. He spoke about the Brazil game and how their U-17 side a few years ago was knocked out of a tournament by Switzerland and how those players will now be playing in this World Cup and how important that is.

Then you hear the pundits we have in this country who spout tired cliches and offer nothing. You learn something with Vickery that isn't obvious to just Google and find out. He's excellent.
