5Dead nine o’clock phone in about listeners’ Christmas memories has the originality, entertainment and enjoyment as the annual TS & BBC debate about your FA Cup memories. It’s still ten days to Christmas FFS. Have the twats already started winding down for the festive season?

Re: The all new Five Live mega thread
This morning they had some woman on who had rewritten Christmas from the feminist point of view.
Why should they have hymns and not hers. Why should it be 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.'
And she wasn't happy with Father Christmas who only worked one day a year while she, as a mother, worked all year.
I kid you not.

Re: The all new Five Live mega thread
Not really just 5 Live related but they were discussing the case of Liam Allan, a 22 year old student that had been falsely accused of rape today.
The prosecuting barrister was interviewed, he was the person that actually helped get the case dropped after it had run for two years and had just reached court.
The police had apparently not bothered checking the accusers phone messages to her friend in which she'd admitted rape fantasies and still wantting to have sex after the accusations.
The barrister blamed the police's ineptitude on financial cuts even though they had two years to do these checks.
When questioned if the accuser would be facing charges for lying he said he'd doubt it as she'd suffered enough.
Just unbelievable, this poor young man had been through hell.
This country has gone mad.

He's got a house up near Kylerhea, Fincho. You could pop in on the way over Na Hearadh- if you take the Uig ferry.

Re: The all new Five Live mega thread
Lovely.
St Kilda would be amazing to see. It's on the bucket list, and supposedly there's ancestors lived there before heading to the 'mainland' (of na h-Eileanan Iar) the Gillies' side before they ended up in Barra, Uist, Jurra and of course Glesgae AND Canada.
Anyhoos, blethering gu leor ; but 3-0 the LACTICS. Easy.

Yep it’s bonkers and it’s all a bit sinister as well. Police withholding evidence. Mmm not great.

Prosecuting Counsel who forced plod to fess up was Jerry Hayes who did the paper review on a friday night with Nolan for several years.

The same Jerry Hayes, who when a Tory MP regularly camped it up on James Whale's TV show in the early hours back when.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Fucking hell, Coln Murr-ayyyy on Drive at the moment. How Ellie Oldroyd is standing it I don't know.
Apparently, his biggest fear is being unemployed. Don't tempt it, Coln.
