The thread blessed by the inclusion of an extremely tired stereotype. Not borne out by any evidence of course. How many cars are now even supplied with hub caps?
Although, to tie the show and that stereotype together anyone remember a "hilarious" scene, in which a car was stopped by scallies at a set of pedestrian lights, who then proceeded to steal the wheels off it?
This was followed by a wave of real life robberies in which cars were halted at pelican crossings, I remember this making the national news at the time.
