Re: Musical Theatre
I tried to get a really interesting TS based "project" off the ground but was swindled out of my nest egg by the false promises and mendacity of a certain south London based impresario.

Re: Musical Theatre
I'm sure you are.
Anyway the new movie trend is musicals.
We have had the excrable La La land and that one where Hugh Jackman pretends to be straight and in a circus and there is a new West Side Story being made and many other projects. This trend along with the current seemingly unending spew of cape shit comic book bollocks means I might never watch a new movie again.
Films, like TV, are now just for women, poofs and virgins.

I am listening to Andrew Lloyd-Webber on the radio at the moment.
He sounds uncannily like Tony Blair.
Two extremely unattractive people.

Blair's hands may be dripping with the blood of untold numbers of innocents and the last withered stalks of freedom and democracy may be crushed to mulch under his $2000 shoes while his wife cackles at the corruption and betrayal our nation and uses £1000 notes to wipe the blood from her vast cavernous maw of a mouth, but at least he can come up with an original tune.

I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

My favourite musical of all time-

If musicals were like that, they would be worth paying to see. Saw Rita, Sue and Bob too last year, but no "We're having a gangbang" song in it. Couldn't help feeling slightly cheated.

Would like to see the play, great film. The Royal Court Theatre axed it and then let it back: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... ford-clark and: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2017/ ... nd-bob-too
Can mostly leave musicals.
