Recorded this documentary on Dalglish on I think it was BBC 4. The start focused on the football tragedies that Kenny was associated with such as Heysel and Ibrox. No doubt Hillsborough will feature prominently later in the programme but respect to him for his dignity during and after the tragedy.
Say what you like about Liverpool FC and it has been said elsewhere in the forum in the last couple of days but hats off to Kenny.

Re: Kenny
Good man overall. A bit misguided in his blinkered support of Suarez with the t-shirts. I still don't buy his reason for leaving Liverpool first time a being stress related seeing as he turned up a few months later at Blackburn. He could have been a bit more honest that he just needed a break and the club would have supported him until the end of that season.
Still, he does a lot for charity and has given his daughter a nice career in sports media so that there won't ever be a shortage of Liverpool supporting TV anchors. What a guy.

Re: Kenny
The t shirt rigmarole was at the DW Stadium just before they played the mighty Wigan Athletic.
