Fordey at Edinburgh

Post by Maude »

Did anyone see him this year? By all accounts, he ripped it up with his best ever act called Brexit Through The Gift Shop. Twitter has been awash with praise and the media reviews have all been outstanding.

I hope to go one day.

It was almost impossible to get a ticket.
I heard that some touts were charging up to £3 a pair.

They'd have to pay me a hundred times more than that to take them.

I don't have a carer.

Very unkind thing to say, that.

The problem is that whilst Forde has had positive and encouraging reviews this year, he still isn’t held in high regard as a political satirist and impersonator when there are so few rivals. I can’t understand why this is the case. Why the discrepancy?
