Reminds me of Leona Lewis, when she was on xfactor, and was touted as an ordinary girl, who up to then had been working in a travel agents, the even had the boss of that travel agents on stage when she won.

Except it was a proven fact she had spent the previous year working in America as a backing singer for Simon cowell, that travel agent boss must have been a really easy going guy to let her disappear from work for all that time!
