Knew a few people who worked with her when she was presenting the breakfast show at Radio Manchester. None of them had a good word for her. Unpleasant in the extreme.

In one of her 'exclusives' she banged on about unpaid internships. Turns out, her show had a number of unpaid interns slaving away. You have to laugh at the total hypocrisy of the woman. It must be lovely to have absolutely zero self-awareness. More worryingly, she may be an actual psychopath. I read a story where she boasted about walking around naked in the house in front of her teenage son. That's fucking creepy shit.

A long life depends on numerous factors. Diet and exercise are one. Genetics are very important too. Subsets of the world population live to 100 without mental or physical deterioration compared to the general population. Some of these centenarians have smoked regularly. Luckily their genetic makeup namely DNA repair enzymes are extremely efficient so mutagenic damage is quickly repaired.

This however does not mean people should smoke. Most people do not have the genetic complement to prevent the numerous cancers caused by smoking.

Tfft, couldn't stand the bint at R5 so was fairly gutted she got a TV gig at the public's expense. "Other projects will be in the pipeline" no doubt.


Labour MP Jess Phillips tweeted that it was "sad to see" the end of a programme that had "reached a largely working class audience". Perhaps that's because her mid-morning audience wouldn't actually be working.
