I’d rather not if that’s OK. Can you sum up in one word what you wrote there?

The 'blue wave' never happened and let's face it they mustered everything they had to get as far as they could.
Nevertheless we were fed a diet of the Dems now have all the ammo they need to bring Trump down. On other channels Trump was laughing at the losers in blue. you really could not work it our through sheer partisan reporting.

But, given Trump is literally Hitler, it seems the chance has gone and the Yanks really do like Hitler after all.

It's going to be even harder working out what's going on with the wave of derangement we'll now get from the same mental cases we had before.

Only Hillman can shed light on this as the forum's 'wise elder statesman'. Where the fuck is he?

He lost.

Big time

Thus far he hs had an easy ride on Capitol Hill.

That is all changed now......as his more agitated than normal demeanour at the press conference yesterday demonstrated amply.

He held the House but now he has lost it....that is the stone cold, hard fact of it.

They improved their position in the Senatorial race but they were expected to hold on to the Senate anyway because the 35 or so seats up for grabs were in mainly Trump country....even fliping the Dem senator in North Dakota was no surprise at all.

And yet the Dems came very close to flipping Texas and Florida.......Cruz clung on in Texas by hus fungertios after winning in a landslide last time.

More importantly for Trump, Texas has thown up a charismatic young man who IMO has moved to the top of the list of Democrat challengers for 2020.

Beto O’Rourke.

Yesteday was the beginning of tge end of the crazy presidency of Mr. Donald J. Trump :drinkers:
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Happens that the Yanks are scared of the alternative, just like we are over here.

Do the BBC and sky really believe your average working Brit gives a fuck about American politics?
Mind you makes a change from that cunt Khan blaming another London stabbing on 'the tories'.

Have you been living under a fucking rock for the last 20 years??

24 hour news channels need content and any old shit will do. What do you expect them to be covering - the jet washing of scummy Wigan pier?

Btw - regardless of who you vote for, if you cut the number of Police officers, criminals will think they can get away with anything. You need more police officers - whether you want them patrolling streets or stop and search. It's so simple, even a rich Lancastrian could understand...maybe not.

The "blue wave" DID happen.
It takes more than 7 days for all the results to come through.
The Democrats have established strong control of the House of Representatives.
They polled very well everywhere, and even where they didn't win , especially in the Sun Belt, they did better than for decades.
Trump insisted it was a poll on him, and if it was , he got a big FUCK OFF.
Oh and the case on Trump is accumulating. There are already six clear separate grounds for impeachment. They include using the position to make money. It is only the GOP hold on the Senate which is preventing it; and you can see even his champions of the last couple of years are beginning to lose patience with the incompetence, pettiness and lying. He is on the slide.
