Zoe Ball is a typical modern BBC breakfast show presenter. Well known name, bland as fuck but won’t rock the boat.

As for Radio 2. That’s always struck me as a radio station for people who know they’re too old for Radio 1 but have no imagination to try something too different. A radio station that tries to be all things to all people, but really just stays in a comfort zone of boring.

I have never knowingly tuned a tranny to Radio 2. I do not think I ever will based on various taxi ride listening. Sounds utter shite. Like all though now, bar Rhod on 5Live and the World Service.

At least TS has unintentional comedy value, sometimes.

She was crap this morning, I've actually started listening to the teatime show now that Mayo's thankfully fucked off. If you get past the ghastly accent and general coarseness, she's actually OK as a listen.

When she was on the breakfast show on Radio 1, it was even worse. Had this desperately unfunny 'posse' who kissed her arse throughout, too.

The sad thing is, Johnny Ball was one of my favourite TV presenters as a child. He was the business.
But he's responsible for siring one of the worst presenters, too…
