I listen to a bit of this on Friday evenings only to hear the ridiculous and endearing slogan. Not sure I can say much about the content but I used to like a bit of the Steve Wright Afternoon Show back in the 1980s.

Went to a Radio 1 roadshow in Poole in 1985. It was the highlight of my holiday. Totally awesome and cheesy beyond fuck.

As a skinny moustachioed DJ in the 80s it was quite fresh and new, especially liked Dave double decks and the gay Gervais.
Wind on 30 years and now,the fat moustachioed DJ is still churning out the same old stuff, past his sell by date 25 years ago.

I managed to convince someone that he had died ten years ago, and radio two were repeating his old 80's shows.
