It has been superb, leader.

Finished last night.

Best docudrama I have ever seen.

Fantastic, got the last one to watch tonight
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

I don’t know much about the history of Chernobyl as I was young at the tome , so would be interesting to watch. The soviets tried to cover it up as much as they could

Chernobyl actually scares me. I don't know why, I was already very familiar with what went on and have no particular phobia of nuclear power, but the way it's presented is very unsettling. I think it's the total ignorance and stupidity of the leaders and desire to avoid accountability at all costs that does it; it reminds me of what would happen here if things ever went tits up at one of our plants. We'd be absolutely fucked, no doubt about it.

I can't think of a worse noise than a Geiger Counter going mental either. "Oh that? That's just the sound of every cell in your body being destroyed by an invisible and deadly force. Don't worry, you'll be dead in a few minutes."
There's no poem, just prose.

As someone who has lived in Russia for seven years (about to end though) I can say the attention to detail is absolutely incredible.

Started watching it last night. Very grim and dark but by the subject matter, very appropriate. Remember it still clearly from the news when the disaster happened in 1986. Like it but need to probably watch back to back episodes but heavy viewing.

Prpiyat seemed to be the ideal communist town and was thriving before the reactor blew up. Seems to be opening up again to visitors.

Don't bother with a documentary. Go and see the real thing.

I read recently how the Japanese covered up the Fukushima nuclear leak. It was a lot worse than we're led to believe.
