Bob Mills greatest moment was talking about the all-Belgian Europa League match in which Ghent played Genk.

The flem and spittle that had to be cleaned off the microphone had to be seen.

He's one of the few BBC radio journalists I could tolerate.

Reasonably (by BBC standards) fair, impatial and posesses a sense of humour.

Good signing by Times Radio.

Underwhelming. Big Pienners at drive is the only one that appeals.

I wonder where this leaves the talkRADIO line-up? Unless the Times radio and talkRADIO will be separate stations...

Time is apparently aimed at the Radio 4 audience.

Looks to me more like a pre-Salford Five Live. I know they're keeping it going but I just don't see where the space is for Talk Radio alongside this.

+1. Only 433,000 people listen to talkRADIO on a weekly basis – a record number according to RAJAR but the overall listenership is still very low compared to BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio-5-Live which combined have over 15 million listeners every week. LBC's weekly reach is over 2 million.

The Today programme gets just over 7m listeners .
And as they profile these things, those listeners are premium- professionals, graduates, higher earners.
That's why Cummings stopped ministers speaking to it for months because they would spot the crap.
Listen to Talksport and let it be a lesson to you
