I used to love Bill when I was young and angry...but I grew out of it .

The only really bad argument I've ever had with my best mate of 45 years was over Bill fucking Hicks.

He practically worships the guy.
I said he was over rated. I still like Hicks and think he's funny but not to the extent that some people do. It kicked off, huffing and sulking-a-go-go.
We didn't talk for a week. Touchy fucker.

Hicks was phenomenal, but he only had 3-4 good jokes.

I'm a comedy fan.
You can check my posts... I've seen Doug Stanhope, Louis CK etc live...,
genuinely, I go to comedy gigs.

I know people can't help the way they look, but I never took to Bill Hicks cos he looked a bit smug.

Apparently there's no PPE for the health-workers. I wonder if there'd be a shortage ... if they were all rich white men?

Louis CK has released a new special on his website and Norm gets a shout out in the thank you bit (So does Kevin Brennan - his comedy is meh, but his podcast is hilarious. A genuine loose cannon)

Yikes.
His best show was his last, the London one. Wasn't it at Hammersmith Apollo? I would've enjoyed that live.

Brilliant!
I love how he cares so little that he doesn't make a big deal out of not caring, if you see what I mean.

Well found, btw.

The episode with Jane Fonda on his Netflix thing is geniunely LOLZ.

I know very little about Fonda e.g famous family, did some fitness stuff in the 80s, and is a program my version of the big girl watches with Martin Sheen. I just assumed she'd be a bit dottled, befuddled and possibly even dull like many celebs, but the episode with her and Norm is brilliant. They were perfect together and really hit it off.

RIP Norm.

Norm on his proposed ventriloquist act which he ditched because one of his dolls, Al McGerritson, turned out to be a viciously anti semitic holocaust denier.

An enthusiastic holocaust-denier.

Thats right. My mistake. He's called viciously anti semitic later.
