New series out in a few days.

Looking forward to it but the trailer seemed a bit disappointing, a bit too 24 rather than Bosch.

This is fucking brilliant, a documentary that's like a soap opera - they're all fucking nuts.

Drugs, murder, lawsuits, missing husbands and lots and lots of fucking tigers.

Netflix keep recommending it to me, it will go on the list.

Watch it.

It's bat shit insane and when you think it can't get are more mental it does.

Is it as mad as Evil Genius about the pizza bomber?

It's a bazillion times madder and better

That's what I'm currently on. Only 4 parts but great so far. Tiger King next then.

And agree with Shabba about 'BB' and 'Better Call Saul'

3 down out of 7 and 'Tiger King' is good, expecting fireworks to come.

Bas, as per Breaking Bsd. Series 2-4 are the best, Walter and Los Pollos Hermanos are great.

Watched the final episode live as per here, a series too far imo, just got ridiculous. But at its best, magnificent television.
A question about Breaking Bad. I finally finished season 4.
And before even trying to watch the entire series, I, like many others, was put off by all the hyperbole about it being one of the greatest things on TV.
But I started it and while I thoroughly enjoyed the first three seasons and would really recommend them, I could not quite see how it justified all the fuss. It did improve every season and was very very good, but just not top two or three of all time good.

Then I watched season 4.

I get the hype now. Tremendous, riveting TV. Rightfully up there , IMO, with The Sopranos, Band of Brothers and the first 5 seasons of GoT (I'd personally put The Expanse up there too, but I realise Sci Fi isn't for everyone)

I even got into the Skyler storylines and it wasn't just those wonderful milfy milkers either.
I thought the tax thing was great.

Without spoiling anything for anyone - who like me was trepidatious about starting something so hyped up and still to try BB, do it, you will not regret it - I would like to ask one question.

The end of season 4, and that wonderful final episode, was a very satisfying and natural ending to the show.

Should I bother with season 5?

I know the scuttlebutt about it being not up to the standard of the others, and pretty much know the outcome anyway as it's now been around so long but I would be happy to stop now.

Should I plough on?

I'd watch it to finish it, Bas, but be prepared to be disappointed. Some liked S5, can't even remember it now, but just went way OTT for me.

Don't listen to him Das.

Season 5 episode 14 is the high water mark for any TV show that I've watched

Can discuss in more detail the entire season once you've finished it.

You've got Das on the brain, Shabba. :) As per, can't remember details of S5, but remember not enjoying it and my posts here. But do think Bas not Das should finish it.

Das / Bas all the same to me.

You should watch season 5 again. It is excellent.

More than happy to discuss in depth once Bas has finished it.

Ok. I'll look back on the BB thread as well to see my comments. Get finishing Bas.

Just re watching Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes back to back for the umpteenth time, brilliant series
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

It's got that slow but interesting vibe they all have. I enjoyed it and didn't find myself fast-forwarding, which is always a good sign.

Started watching this last night, didn’t really follow it so watched it from the start again this morning and am enjoying it. Barely halfway through the first episode and it does captivate you with each bit of detail about identifying the parts that were used in the first video. Looks quite intense and gripping. Enjoying it. Love the forensic psychological aspect.
