This is fucking brilliant, a documentary that's like a soap opera - they're all fucking nuts.

Drugs, murder, lawsuits, missing husbands and lots and lots of fucking tigers.

Netflix keep recommending it to me, it will go on the list.

Watch it.

It's bat shit insane and when you think it can't get are more mental it does.

Finished it earlier. Whilst very good and entertaining, first four episodes built nicely on history and then ramped up more, it was never more than very good and interesting to me.

A Carlos 8/10.

I enjoyed it.

Final episode was by far the weakest.

What are you watching now?

I watched all 3 seasons of The Detectorists on IPlayer. A McKenzie Crook sitcom about metal detectors.

It was an enjoyable change of pace and as an added bonus it had the delectable Rachael Stirling

Nothing at the moment as working, might go for 'The Detectorists' then. Never seen and read good things here.

The Detectorists is great. Low key but often very funny. Some great performances too.

Bashed it off in a few hours , no sympathy being a Boro fan ...to a degree :D . Its car crash stuff but totally riveting ,even though you know the outcomes Netflix struck gold with this of all the sports type reality stuff because its is so High/low stuff, the PL clubs would sanitise this sort of stuff beyond belief . When you watch this you see how fast it can go wrong & it does strike a chord with most fans aside from the supposed elite clubs.
The first one was great.
I think the highlight of the first one was Chris Coleman's bizarre response to a heckling fan. The looks of bemusement on all present. :D
And I like Coleman, a seemingly decent guy in an industry jiving with cunts.

I'll be checking out this one after I've finished Better Call Saul.

Haha that was a great moment, like you say a very strange response though

On Amazon, watched “The Edge” (documentary about the England cricket team of a decade ago) and now watching the series about the Australian team’s rebuilding project after the ball tampering scandal.

Both good.

A few decent films too.

Saw advert for series 2 of After Life with Ricky Gervais.Always meant to watch the first series but never got round to it.
Watched over 2 days and IMO it's better than The Office and Derek.
Gervais is a genius and the supporting class especially Penelope Wilton as Anne are brillant .
A sad subject based on him unable to cope after his wife died from cancer but full of humour and pathos throughout.

Roll on April 21 when series 2 starts on Netflix

Tiger King - where to start, really was fun/depressing to watch. All deeply flawed characters (aren't we all I suppose). I laughed at the journo asking Trump if he would pardon Joe - Trump actually did well in avoiding the question - but wouldn't put it past him if he blitzed this during the weekend and pardons it on Tuesday! Absolutely huge TV program and seems everyone has seen it. The most likable character was Reinke (with no legs) seemed a good dude. Just watch it. That scene where they put aftershave on his boots, haha ''GO! *GUNSHOT* hit the croc with crutch, GET"

The Ozarks - finished season three. I thought halfway through season two it jumped the shark a bit. Just, went a bit all - the holier than thou wife somehow turns into Bad Bitch etc and they had a chance to get out etc. Went in to this season thinking, it was something to watch through the lockdown and first few episodes were a slog ; but it did get better and the ending was very good and surprising. No doubt I'll watch Season 4 ; but if you have seen the Sopranos, Wire, Breaking Bad, its still a distant bronze medal to those if we were putting them on podiums.

Unorthodox - I'm only two episodes in, but it is brilliant. Fascinating characters and a culture, I don't think we know much of (the hotel scene where the receptionist says they love Israeli guests and Moishe spits ''Zionists'' a nice wee lesson). Some great acting by mostly German and Israeli actors. Story follows a Orthodox Jewish lady trying to escape the culture from NY ; some great plotlines and developments too with the lack of English used even though its set in Williamsburg, NY. Anyhoos, give this a go - it's about 50 mins a episode.

I have just watched probably the worst film I’ve ever seen on amazon. 2.6/10 is fucking ridiculous.

Image

I don’t really do TV, have a first in and what I’ve noticed that since the lockdown, anything that’s half shit and better you have to pay for now. Cunts.

Anyway, the above film. Fuck me. Dreadful.

Might watch that, Henry. :) There's a few shite hooligan films free on Prime. Think I'll go for 'Cass' first.
