Jones is absolutely not to be taken seriously but I do find him amusing when on Rogan. When he listed himself as a 'performance artist' a few years ago, I chose to believe it. Never listened to Infowars though - not my thing.

The performance artist line is his defence from the defamation cases against him brought by the parents of murdered children he claimed were actors.

Listened to the Rogan, Dillon and Jones episode whilst out walking.

Loved it! Jones is entertaining. I don't take him serious, but he's great entertainment. Dillon is a funny comedian and his podcast is brilliant too, he's like the Coke Zero version of Jones. I always laugh at how often Joe doesn't get certain things, him being sober probably was the worst part of it but he does have that big Spotify contract, but he kept asking to verify Dillon and Jones' claims.

The election night should be good fun - Kyle Kulsinki (left/Sanders supporter, a bit like Jimmy Dore), Jones, Dillon, Rogan is almost a Clash Of The Titans type cast. Hopefully get a few others like Redban, Burr, Doug Stanhope and few others, but maybe with Covid and Joe being in Austin now.

Only complaint of Jones is the rambling over folk especially Tim when he was about to make a point. Still great fun, although don't take it serious.

Last 45 mins of the podcast was the best.

Just the three of them shooting shit, and no conspiracies. Alex probably so pished, he's relaxed and saying he wants to take a long break go hiking and fishing etc.

Great stuff Kev. I'll definitely be listening to the election special tomorrow.

Only hope they can rope in Joey 'Coco' Diaz to give his take on the election :D

Big fan of Bill Burr btw. A funny guy but also a fantastic raconteur who seems like a legit person. No bullshit or fakery.

The phrase "alex jones shouldn't be taken seriously" rings somewhat hollow when for many years he's promoted his bizarre theories as fact. Something that's induced members of his listenership to harass the loved ones of gun massacre victims on the suspicion that they were part of some supposed hoax.

When things like that happen with real consequences for innocent people, unfortunately dirtbags like alex jones need to be taken seriously.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... conspiracy

Alex himself has only trotted out the "I'm just an entertainer" bullshit in the wake of him being taken to the cleaners in a court of law. Hes not just some fruitcake who jokes about alien abductions. Hes used misinformation for his own gain at the expense of innocent people.

The Undertaker is his latest guest. Nice to hear from someone who was a big part of my early childhood.

Did you go to a lot of funerals when you were young Zippy?
